Question:
I have been in a good relationship for over a year. However, whenever I see or run into my ex my heart starts to pump fast and I can't stop thinking about him. Does that mean I'm not over my ex? Or that I'm not really in love with my current boyfriend?
Answer:
Neither! Every girl is hung up on an ex, especially one that dumped her and she never truly felt she got revenge on him or has found true love since then. I call it "Syndrome X". The best way to get over an ex, they say, is to get under another, but sometimes doing that only makes you miss him more. Timing is everything and for me, it takes years and years to get rid of that sinking feeling every time you see an ex. You need to constantly remind yourself why you broke up, and know that if you ever do get back together, those same old feelings are just going to repeat themselves,
