I was using the pill for 9 years with no side effects and no unnexpected arrivals. However I don't mean to sound like a health and safety advert but you and your partner need to get STI tested.

well put it this way, I was on yasmin religiously for 3 months, messed me up with my periods and I now have a 3 month old daughter.
Yeah there is only like 2% chance that you'll get pregnant, but I'd listen to your boyfriend and use the extra protection if you don't want kids.
I am only 19, and wasn't looking at becoming a parent for at least another 10 years, but my partner and I wouldn't change anything for the world.

Im currently on the pill, its called Yasim, but my boyfriend wont have sex with me without a condom but he wont buy them and i dont like to either as i look a lot younger than 18 or so and i cant stand the dirty looks i get, but he wont have sex with me because he doesnt believe the pill will work without using condoms too. Got any advice on how effective it is, and id like to hear from someone taking the same one?
