With news in this morning that Jamie-Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl (thereby upstaging the scandals of big sister Britney), we got to thinking about celebrity sisters. There's the old standards - Jess and Ash, Hilary and Haylie, Paris and Nicky. But what about the sisters who avoid scandal and gossip rags, like Venus and Serena Williams, who famously fought for equal prize money for women at Wimbledon, or Zooey and Emily Deschanel, both talented actresses in their own right? We take a look at Hollywood's famous - and infamous - sisters.

I dont know why ANYONE would want a sister. i have 3 younger ones and they drive me up the wall. they get in your clothes and make-up. scratch your cd's,phone,ipod,sunnies ect; tell on yu for doin the most simplest stuff. get yu in trouble, when yu didn't even do it! go through your messages and listen in on your phone calls. they call and text your mates, especially the guy your interested in! there's just a few things! so dont wish yu had a sister!  Report thisReport this

i would love to have a sister also. i have a brother, and even tho we are close, its not the same as havin a girl around to share everything with, shop with and do fun girly stuff. im close with my boyfriends sister, but i always wish i had my own sister!  Report thisReport this

New York, New York

Have you ever been to New York City? I’ve just returned. I mean, literally just stepped off the plane and, yes, my hair looks like crap after … oh 18 or 19 hours flying time. But what a trip! What a city! What a hoot! Let me explain … I was in New York on official Cosmo business, a fact finding mission where I was privy to a whiff of two divine new fragrances that I’ll tell you all about in the mag very soon! Let me just say this – there’s one for him (the sexy 91X RocaWear) and one for you (the mischievous and delicious new scent, Juicy Couture!)… so just keep your Christmas list (and Christmas shopping list!) in pencil for a little while yet. When working for Cosmo, however, luckily business often meets pleasure and so I also had the opportunity to play tourist, eat at some amazing restaurants, absorb the electric atmosphere of the US Presidential Elections, make new friends, catch up with old friends and shop in Zara like a woman possessed.
