My little tip for a successful wedding reception!

Having been a Bride myself and working for a Australia’s most  stylish bridal magazine, Cosmo Bride, I have discovered the secret ingredient to an amazing wedding day: fun! And the best way to make sure you have this secret ingredient, is sourcing good music. Of course my idea of what good music is will not necessarily be your’s. So, give careful consideration to what music you, your family and friends will enjoy on the night. It’s a common mistake to let your DJ or band to play appropriate music for both the oldies and the young but it often misses the mark, as no two families or groups of friends are the same. Think about what will make your grandmother hit the dance floor, your parents and your best friend. Be specific when instructing your entertainment, choose some key songs which are hits in each other families and group of friends. If you don’t feel confident choosing music for others, a great (and inclusive) way to do it, is ’s to add a “favourite song” to fill in to your RSVP card!

Have a lovely and fun wedding, Elodie xx
