When I heard the news that Natalie Portman (Black Swan star and my all-time beauty inspiration) had married her partner Benjamin Millepied in California over the weekend I could not wait for pictures. I had to see them. What did she wear? How did she do her hair? I had this glamorous vision of what she’d look like, something full-length and slinky with an A-line shape – understated, but with a touch of glamour. Her hair would be pulled back into a soft up do – sleek and chic. But wow – was I wrong!
Natalie attended her traditional Jewish ceremony lit by the natural moonlight (that’s right – a night time wedding. How romantic!) wearing a tea-length lacy white dress with sheer long sleeves and floral detailing, and a pair of white ballet flats. Her hair was down in natural waves finished with a flower garland and a veil. Her ballet-dancer groom wore a navy tux with a white shirt to the occasion – very sharp.
Although her look wasn’t what I imagined, I liked it – there was something youthful and innocent about it.
What do you guys think of Natalie’s big-day look?
