Wedding Parties
Weddings are full of parties, in fact, I think they should call it party season.
You’ve got the engagement party, the bridal shower, hens night, the rehearsal dinner and finally, the queen of all parties, the wedding. So, it came as no surprise to me that I was recently invited to a bonbonniere party.
There are no heels or party dresses required for this one. It’s just you, your fellow bridesmaids and the bride – all in the name of putting together the wedding party favours.
Four girls, three bottles of wine, six repeats of our mixed CD, two kilos of sugared almonds and a hundred or so sheer, silver pouches later, and we had our bonbonnieres.
If you ask me, a bonbonniere party is a perfect addition to the wedding preparation plan! Bridal bonding, it’s cost effective and the best part? There were sugared almonds left to spare!
