My Day My Way
My Day My Way
our wedding day was perfect, couldn't have gone better to plan. We were both so relaxed and really enjoyed the day. We have two children together; a 2yo & 9 month old and decided to set the photo's before the wedding from 1-3pm then wedding at 4pm on the beach and we then stayed on with our guests for cocktail hour/reception. As we had 100 guests flying in for our beach wedding, we wanted it to be relaxed, enjoyable and to make the most of our day. We believe planning our photo's first worked well for us, our kids and our guests as they didn't have the lingo of waiting around in between. We really made the most of the day and loved every minute of our Mollymook Beach Easter Wedding!! :) As time constraints and busy with children could easily limit the wedding planning process, we still made the most of it with a lot of persoanl details incorporated into our day. The bride loves craft/handmade and made her own veil, brought silk flowers and created bridal bouquet, handpainted wedding glasses for guests, booklet wedding invites made out of recycled paper, bunting thankyou flag and a sign post for the beach directing guests. Everything about the day was us and the Ukelele girls on the beach created the relaxing beach vibe. We particularly loved their rendidtion of "somewhere over the rainbow mixed with What a Wonderful World" as Mel walked down the 'beach aisle'. I could keep going on with the details and our surfboard as our 'guestbook' and the many details that made our day unique, but I hope I have given you a great insight into our perfect day! Thanks so much. If only I could upload more photo's of how great our bridesmaid colour scheme & linen suits worked in the photos along with some country shots on the beautiful green hills of Milton (Sth Coast NSW) but I just can't go past this classic wedding shot with our beautiful children. Not posed, but captured such a moment in time we will remember forever :)
