I was lucky enough to get to live the life of Carrie Bradshaw for a day and head on down to L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival last week to have a look at what's happening this season. And lucky for you I have put together a little list of the Top Trends to try right now - so if you're after some style inspiration, are looking for a fun new on-trend look or just feel like talking fashion then read on!

Trend 1. Geometric, structured dresses. These dresses are flattering and also eye-catching and are the perfect outfit to go from day to night.

Trend 2. Hats: ranging from felt to over-sized trucker caps these are the perfect accessory for the colder months, they keep your head warm and help you avoid any bad hair days!

Trend 3. Contrasted layering. Think lace over leather, wool with suede or even faux fur over silk. 

Trend 4. Statement jewellery. Necklaces are the easy way to pull this look off hassle-free but feel free to also try out stacking on some over-sized bracelets.
