Two Unbreakable Underwear Rules
Every year summer brings with it parties, races, events, family gatherings and festive soirees that each call for a fresh new summer outfit. With these new outfits come some major landmines that my research suggests many of you have not considered, which is where I step in!
Rule Number One.
No matter what you are wearing a casual bystander should never be able to se your bra straps, your bra clasp - any sighting of bra really! This may seem harsh but after a number of outings with my girlfriends the one thing we couldn’t help but notice was all these amazing backless dresses (a look I am totally loving this season) ruined by an unnecessary bra!
Rule Number Two
The ONLY thing worse then a fabulous outfit ruined by the sight of bra is a gorgeous skin-tight dress showing off how hard you’ve worked for a fit summer body, ruined by VPL (Visible Panty Lines for those playing along at home) – and often the VPL of granny undies!
There is no excuse for these faux pas, and if your friends don’t have the heart to tell you that the sight of your undies is ruining your outfit then I do! So take your sexy little backless number downtown now and find a bra that you can wear with it that cannot be seen. Immediately - if not sooner.
Even more importantly, it is definitely time for every person reading to go out now and invest in some sexy new underwear and THROW OUT any daggy pairs you have lying around the house. There is no excuse and no need for granny undies. They don’t look good and more importantly they do not make you feel good about yourself! Nothing feels better then slipping on a sexy pair of undies for the day, even if the only person who will see them is you!
