Im being a bridesmaid for a friend and she has decided to dress us each in dresses that suit our body type but same colour - looks much better as we are completely different types

you can do what you like. some styles may not suit particular girls, i think just having same colour dresses but styles that flatter each particular bridesmaid is a great idea.

I think that at the end of the day it is your wedding day. But you should remember that you are going to be looking at these photos for the rest of your life so you want everyone to be flattered but melding prettily together. I had two bridesmaids in sapphire blue and my matron of honour wore fuschia pink. My dress was white with blue exposed boning so the end result was colourful and fun. Just like us!

ok just a quick question...
is it sutiable for your bridsmaids not to be wearing exactly the same dress but in the same colour???
and is it better to have everyone at the ceromony and only a little at the reception or vice a versa??
