Gisele is the 'only true supermodel' says Naomi

While guest-editing a British tabloid, Naomi Campbell has hit out at newcomer models, saying, "Models need to earn their stripes - I think the term 'supermodel' gets thrown around too much nowadays."

She said that models like Agyness Deyn, the British punk model touted as the next great supermodel and the heir to Kate Moss's throne, have "a lot to learn."

Said Naomi, "Kate Moss is obviously a supermodel but after Gisele, I don't think there's been one."

With more than 500 magazine covers in her bulging CV, Gisele is certainly worthy of the name 'supermodel.' After all, Claudia Schiffer once defined a supermodel as "a model on all the covers all over the world at the same time."

OMFG How can u say that they are getting fat!!! u dont know what ur talking about... and no i am not a 'fat' chick... did u know that 1 in 4 australian teenage girls throw up (ie bulimia) and 1 in 10 have some kind of level of anorexia. and this is because of comments that people like u make. those models are beautiful and have wonderful figures and might even just be on the too skinny side. grow the eff up and think about what u are saying and how it is effecting young girls  Report thisReport this

haha, yeh i agree. Whats with all this talk that big is beautiful, it makes me sick. If a model weighs more than 50kg she needs to hit the treadmill. P.S half of the pictured models aren't even that attractive.  Report thisReport this

New York, New York

Have you ever been to New York City? I’ve just returned. I mean, literally just stepped off the plane and, yes, my hair looks like crap after … oh 18 or 19 hours flying time. But what a trip! What a city! What a hoot! Let me explain … I was in New York on official Cosmo business, a fact finding mission where I was privy to a whiff of two divine new fragrances that I’ll tell you all about in the mag very soon! Let me just say this – there’s one for him (the sexy 91X RocaWear) and one for you (the mischievous and delicious new scent, Juicy Couture!)… so just keep your Christmas list (and Christmas shopping list!) in pencil for a little while yet. When working for Cosmo, however, luckily business often meets pleasure and so I also had the opportunity to play tourist, eat at some amazing restaurants, absorb the electric atmosphere of the US Presidential Elections, make new friends, catch up with old friends and shop in Zara like a woman possessed.
