So many girls i went to school with I hear are now having kids and i'm 19. I had a convo wid the ladies at work saying I wanted to be a young mum and have my first child 22-23, and they all thought it was such a terrible idea. How is younger pregnancy seen these days coz back in the days everyone were baby making machines, now the older gen is saying were hving kids 2 young and its not good. What do you think? why do you think the views have changed and ppl r havin them so early?

Personally I would like to have kids early to avoid having kids still at home when i'm 60, however at this stage (at 25) my husband and I are not financially ready to support children and give them the life we'd like to so need to wait. I came from a country town - & a lot of girls had kids young, some even in high school. However I don't think overall they're getting younger, if anything more women are waiting till their late 20s into their 30s because of career/travel/etc.
