Bachelor in Paradise fave Tara Pavlovic has shared her take on the real reason behind her breakup with former fiancé, Sam Cochrane, and your girl ain't holding back.

The 27-year-old nanny got brutally honest in an interview with the Daily Mail about what she reckons prompted her and Sam's June split.

"Sam left me after a fight thinking I would beg from him back — he always threatened to leave and played games," Tara alleged.

"But this time I told him to never speak to me again and then he begged for me back for weeks."

She added that she feels "the biggest sense of relief" the relationship is over because she "lost her identity" when she was with Sam.

"He would always say to me I needed someone who was 'dumb with no feelings', that he was too smart and deep for me," she said.

Sam and his representation have been contacted for comment regarding Tara's claims.

While Sam has been living it up in Bali and sharing his travels on Instagram, Tara has been a little more low-key, but said she's got a few exciting things on the horizon.

"I have a friend's wedding in Germany, and I am also being flown to Sweden for a music festival with a girlfriend from Sydney," she told the Daily Mail.

"I was the worst version of myself when I was with [Sam], so it'll be good to just find myself again during this trip."

At the time of their split, Sam made no mention of any fights and simply said: "My proposal was meant to be forever but life sometimes takes you away from the dream and you wake up."

We reckon this interview with Tara is less like waking up from a dream and more like having a bucket of water dumped on you mid-nap.
