Apparently Caitlyn Jenner didn't tell the Kardashians about her sexual reassignment surgery because she didn't trust them.
Cait's relationship with her step-children Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian has becoming increasingly strained since the former Olympic gold medalist dissed their mother, his ex-wife Kris Jenner in the 2016 memoir, The Secrets of My Life.
In a new interview for Piers Morgan's Life Stories, 68-year-old Cait said that she gave her book to her family prior to it's release, but held back the pages that detailed her 2015 surgery gender confirmation surgery.
Jenner claimed to have had very good reasons.
"I didn't want them to leak it to the press, okay?" Caitlyn told host Piers Morgan. "And there was no reason for them to know about it."
When Piers asked if trust was the issue, Cait confessed, "of course I didn't trust them."
Despite supporting Caitlyn publicly through her transition Kendall and Kylie's dad said that informing the Kardashian family about her anatomical change from male to female wasn't something they needed to know.
"It's none of their businesses. I had already been living as Caitlyn for a year and a half, OK?" Caitlyn said. "I didn't want them to leak it to the press, OK? There was no reason for them to know about it, of course I didn't trust them."
Last year, while chatting to Sirius XM's Andy Cohen, Cait said that she and step-daughter Khloe hadn't spoken for years.
"[Khloe] hasn't talked to me in about two years," admitted. "That's sad. I was very, very close to Khloé. I had 23 years of raising her. I met Khloé when she was five years old."
"Of course, it hurts," she revealed. "She was on Howard Stern and called me a liar and that kind of pissed me off too because I never lied to her. If I didn't tell her everything… first of all, she never asked."
Apart from taking aim at her fam in the Pier's interview, Cait also turned on the host when he asked a "disrespectful" question.
When Morgan inquired about her physical changes and joked that there were "certain areas we know about" Jenner fired back.
"You made a comment there and that's why you would get in trouble, OK? You said 'certain areas' — that, to a trans person, is disrespectful."
When Morgan tried to defended his comment Caitlyn was firm.
"It's not funny," she said. "It's life. It's a very serious part of my life."
Adding: "It's not something that you joke about. This is serious stuff. People die over these issues. It's not a joke."
"Point taken," Morgan conceded.
