Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart's Twitter accounts were hacked and Cole took the fall for it

His reaction to the whole fiasco was pure gold.

Riverdale season three isn't back on Netflix until October 10, but it's okay because there's almost as much drama going down on Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse's Twitter accounts.

The stars, who play onscreen lovebirds Betty and Jughead are dating in real life, both had their accounts compromised, with the hacker sharing some seriously whack content.

Cole's account was the first to fall, with the hacker reportedly sharing a lewd tweet about Barbara Palvin, the model girlfriend of Cole's brother Dylan.

The hacker also wrote some fairly hectic stuff about Cole's Disney past, "clapping ass cheeks" and even dates for potential "meet and greets". LOL.

If the bad grammar and bizarre claims weren't evidence enough, Lili took to Twitter to confirm Cole's account had, in fact, been hacked.

Unfortunately, Lili also copped a hacking two days later, with the tweet: "Shouldn't have talked shit about us, here's to lili fans found this masterpiece in iCloud."

The tweet included a photo of a nude woman the hacker was clearly trying to suggest was Lili, but internet sleuths later figured out was actually an adult film star. Nice try, creep.

Cole, ever the class act, had the best reaction to the whole fiasco, tweeting: "Thanks to all the fans that had our backs over the last couple days, especially after that pic of my breasts was spread all over the internet."

One cheeky fan did point out, however, that Cole might have been asking for a hack ever since he tweeted this earlier in the year:

Cole's definitely a weird unit (that's why we love him) but this hacker might have out-weirded him. For now.
