That thing is HUGE: Get a proper look at Hailey Baldwin’s engagement ring

No cookie-cutter jewellery here.

By now, we're sure you've heard Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are engaged. Although Biebs only hit the 'off-again' stage of his tumultuous relationship with Selena back in May, the idea of marrying Hailey was planted over two years ago.

With that much prep, he had time to pick a good ring, right?

According to reports, the ring cost around $2 million USD and Justin had it custom-made — no rush purchases here. The ring features a massive oval-shaped diamond, which sits between two gold pave bands.

It's apparently the ring of whirlwind romances; comparisons have already been made between Hailey's ring and Ariana Grande's huge rock from her beau of one month and haver of BDE, Pete Davidson.

Of course, that isn't the 'engagement ring twin' Hailey's found — people have also pointed out the similarities between hers and the honorary fourth Jonas Brother, Sophie Turner's.

The shape of the stone is different, but it's a pretty distinctive suspended band style.

Back in 2016, Biebs hinted at his desire to marry Hailey in the future in an interview with GQ.

"I don't want to put anyone in a position where they feel like I'm only theirs, only to be hurt in the end," he told the publication. "Right now in my life, I don't want to be held down by anything. I already have a lot that I have to commit to. A lot of responsibilities."

"I don't want to feel like the girl I love is an added responsibility. I know that in the past I've hurt people and said things that I didn't mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I'm just more so looking at the future, making sure I'm not damaging them.

"What if Hailey ends up being the girl I'm gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it's always gonna be damaged. It's really hard to fix wounds like that. It's so hard.… I just don't want to hurt her."

It looks like the only thing that will be hurting Hailey is the weight of that rock.
