Kim Kardashian said she might change Chicago's name

We're officially confused.

Kim Kardashian West's children have some of the most undoubtedly unique names in Hollywood — as do all of the other Kardashian-Jenner kids.

However, KKW has said she's thought about changing her baby daughter Chicago's name during an interview with her former assistant Stephanie Shepherd.

In the interview, for her website, the beauty superstar discussed her and Kanye's trials and tribulations in deciding a name for Chicago, who was born via surrogate in December 2017.

Kim said she nicknamed her newborn 'Chi' (pronounced 'Shy') because it's easier for a child to understand, adding that she'll let her daughter decide which name she'd like to go by once she's older. But aside from the whole Chi vs. Chicago debacle, Kimmy has low-key decided to give her daughter a new middle name.

"We were going to name her Rei and spell it R-E-I for Kanye's dad Rei, and she doesn't look like a Rei. We were going to call her Jo for Mary Jo and have it be Jo West. She doesn't look like a Jo."

"I haven't really been into middle names, but it's like, I really wanted a middle name that was short. A one syllable one. Noel is my middle name and it's not a one syllable name, but it's short. I love the name Noel. Kanye does not. So I unofficially Instagrammed Chi Noel and I was like I'm doing this because I want her middle name to be Noel."

We really hope baby Chicago 'Chi' Noel Kardashian West can navigate her way through all these name shenanigans!

Kim and Kanye welcomed Chicago through a surrogate parent, a process they chose to document on Keeping Up with The Kardashians (though the surrogate mother remained anonymous). Chicago's birth coincided with the births of Kylie Jenner's daughter Stormi Webster in February, and Khloé Kardashian's daughter True Thompson in April.

In the same interview, Kim also dished on the alleged drama between her and interviewer Stephanie, which reportedly all took place when Stephanie left her position as Kim's assistant. Kim divulged "We've never had a feud! She wanted to go in a different direction. I respect that. I love giving that encouragement to whoever I'm working with."

"Just because people stop working together, doesn't mean that they're feuding and stop being friends."
