ICYMI: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are just announced the birth of their third child via surrogate on Monday, January 15.
Kim shared the news via her website and wrote:
Yay for Kimye!
Hours after confirming the new addition to their fam, reported details of the baby's birth are surfacing and there's speculation that BOTH Kim and Kanye were in the delivery room with their so-far unnamed surrogate for the birth.
According to US Weekly's sources said Kim was fully-present for her daughter's birth and Kanye was in the delivery room too but "he stood behind a curtain until the baby was born and then held her."
According to TMZ the birth took place at Ceder's Siani Hospital -- where Kim gave birth to her other two kids North, 4, and Saint, 2 -- and Kim was the first person to have skin-to-skin contact with the child after the tot was delivered by trusted family doctor Dr. Paul Crane.
Apparently Kim's mum Kris Jenner and her sisters were also there for the birth "but they were not in the delivery room," -- could this explain the confusing rumours a reportedly pregnant Kylie Jenner was in labor at Ceder's Siani Hospital at the weekend?
While the surrogate's identity is still unknown -- though fans widely speculate it's actually Kylie -- it's reported that she's a married African-American woman in her 20s with two young boys of her own. And, "she's a registered Democrat," claims TMZ.
The gossip site also claims that the surrogate was allowed to have some contact with the baby after the delivery and before she officially joined her siblings North and Saint in the care of parents Kim and Kayne.
