Though we don't like to reduce women to one body part, it's fair to say that Kim Kardashian — successful business woman, amazing mum and global star — is fairly well aesthetically-known for one asset in particular: Her ass.
The entire Kardashian family have been blessed with voluptuous booties, but while we'd like to write them off as natural assets that we will simply never achieve due to DNA, it appears that Ms. KimmyK puts a fair bit of work into her behind.
In a recent interview with Women's Health, Kim's personal trainer, Melissa Alcantara, revealed just how many man hours go into sculpting Kim Kardashian's butt.
Melissa also revealed that while Kim puts the time into working out her backside, it's equally important to rest up your butt in order for it to grow. "You don't want to go too hard or overwork that muscle, otherwise it doesn't have time to recover and grow," she says.
Kim has shared some of her workouts with Melissa on her Instagram Stories, revealing that the number of squats she does in the gym everyday is a casual 1000. Yes, ONE-FREAKIN'-THOUSAND!
Melissa, who has worked with Kim for quite some time now explained that the mum-of-three is a seriously dedicated student. "Even though her schedule is crazy, she's super-responsible and always shows up for her workouts. She's the best client and athlete you can have."
So does that mean if we want a booty like Kim, we have to actually commit to going to the gym? Goddamn.
Perhaps we'll stick to this old school butt toning exercise featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians instead…
