The 'Degrassi' cast reunited for Drake's nostalgic 'I'm Upset' music video

But we're upset 'cause not everyone made it.

Drake has been in the middle of a lot of music drama this past month so it's no wonder the rapper wanted to take a trip down memory lane and remember happier times by hosting a Degrassi: The Next Generation reunion for his new I'm Upset music video.

In a viddy sure to trigger your nostalgic feels, Aubrey's old pals from his acting days at Degrassi Community School came together to star in a short/funny film to celebrate the class of 2007—wait... so does that mean it was their 11 year reunion? Weird.

Anyway, in the clip, after Drake rocks up in an orange Ferrari—as one does to their school reunion—alums like Nina Dobrev (Mia Jones), Jake Epstein (Craig Manning), Lauren Collins (Paige Brooks), and Drake former onscreen bestie, Shane Kippel (Gavin "Spinner" Mason) are spotted causing mischief in the old gym; even actors Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith reprise their Jay and Silent Bob characters to sell some naughty stuff to the principle because, they were on Degrassi once too, 'member?!

But after watching the Karena Evans-directed clip we were upset because not everyone was back; where were J.T. and Sean?

Apparently Daniel Clark, who played Sean on the show, took to Instagram to explain that he had no idea that the video was happening.

In a live IG video Clark said:

So that's the story with Sean.

As for Ryan Cooley, who played J.T., Drake himself explained to a fan that the actor didn't want to be involved because "he thought it was a scam."

In addition to the video Drake dropped the black-and-white cover art for his forthcoming album, Scorpion, and announced that it will be released on Friday, June 29.
