Bachelor in Paradise couple Keira Maguire and Jarrod Woodgate have very publicly separated, following a spate of reality TV breakups this month.
Considering we can't blame this all on Mercury Retrograde, the entire Cosmopolitan office is in a state of heartbreak and shock, so much so that we've devised some seriously good office conspiracy theories.
Following the breakup Keira is embarking on a journey of self discovery and deliciousness with Deliveroo, who for a limited time are delivering 'The Heartbreak Pizza' from September 10 to September 16.
It's very literal...
Days before we caught up with Keira to hear her thoughts on everything heartbreaks, pizza, and Bach, Jarrod gave a statement about their breakup insinuating it was all Keira's fault because she's an Instagram addict. Harsh. You can read his full statement here.
"When Jarrod broke up with me via text, I just thought, 'Wouldn't it have been nice if he had sent me a pizza?' It would have definitely lightened the blow a bit," Keira said.
After a stint on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise and no man to call her own, Keira isn't happy about her and Jarrod's split.
"I'm annoyed! I actually thought this was the guy that I was meant to be with. [If I knew this was going to happen] I wouldn't have wasted my time; I'm not the type of girl that just pretends to like someone. I was so invested, I moved my life, and I thought this was the real deal."
Living her best resilient life, Keira reveals that the relationship we saw on social media was perhaps not all as it seemed.
"Towards the end of the relationship I think I totally just lost my independence. I moved into his family home and just became somebody that I wasn't," she explained. As for coming out the other side, Keira says it all about confidence and focusing on yourself.
"Also go to the gym and get a revenge body!" she quipped.
Jarrod recently told Who: "I'd spend two days a week with her and it [was] basically all Instagram-based. It's hard because you're competing with 177,000 other people that follow her, but I shouldn't have to compete ... For me, it wasn't a genuine connection because everything we did went through Instagram, and I'm a farm guy who hardly touches his phone."
Her response? "I think it's a little bit of a cop out. Nothing that drastic happened, there were a lot of different communication issues, and we did struggle with communication. When it comes to relationships I would say that I'm an expert, where he's a bit of an amateur. I think he is definitely out of touch, I ran his Instagram, I was on it doing stuff for him - I'm not on Instagram that much. In today's society that's the way the future is going, especially in this industry. You can't be that naïve.
