Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are an instantly iconic movie couple in 'A Star Is Born' trailer

Gaga is coming for all of your Oscars.

You guys... every now and then a movie comes along and you are so moved by it, you just want to shrink yourself into pixels and slide inside the screen and live in that story forever; based on the trailer alone, we know A Star Is Born will be such a film.

Starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, this is a remake of Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson's 1976 classic—which was a remake of the 1954 version starring Judy Garland—and geeze, the bit we've been teased with does not disappoint.

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in 'A Star Is Born'.

Basically, in the movie Bradley goes full on country to play folksy rock star, Jackson Maine who is on a path of self-destruction via drugs and alcohol when he meets a woman at a shady bar named Ally, a.k.a Stefani Germanotta, a.k.a Lady-freakin'-Gaga.

Throughout the brief sample, Gaga looks pretty unrecognisable in this stripped back role as she's portraying a woman who's short on confidence. But when her character is encouraged by Jackson to take the stage...y'know how it goes... a star is born.

In the 2.25 minute clip, the chemistry between these two is off the chart sxc and, can we just say, Bradley as a washed up looking musician who can actually sing (!!!!!!) is doing things to us.

Also of note, Bradley himself directed the film and it also stars Dave Chappelle.

^^Plays on repeat all day long.^^

The film is due in cinemas October, 2018.
