It’s been three looong months since the Pretty Little Liars ‘Endgame’ finale aired, leaving a Rosewood-shaped hole in our hearts. But now the show’s creators have gone and confirmed the rumoured PLL spin-off show, The Perfectionists, is officially happening with the pilot now ordered by Freeform.

The show itself is based off a book of the same name, written by PLL author Sara Shepard. Rather than being set in Rosewood, the new show will take place in Beacon Heights, a town full of overachievers, but "behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a needed alibi."

Of course, no PLL spin-off is complete without members of the OG squad and, sure enough, two of the gals have been confirmed as stars of the new show.

Sasha Pieterse (Alison DeLaurentis) and Janel Parrish (Mona Vanderwaal) were selected because, as the cast has previously agreed, Alison "has such a messed up past" and "is still very unstable", while Mona is just complicated AF.

Here’s hoping the frenemies team up to create a mastermind duo ‘cos, let’s be honest, we’ve low-key shipped this alliance all along:

“I’m beyond excited to continue my collaboration with Sara Shepard, Alloy, Freeform and Warner Horizon,” says Marlene King. “I can’t wait to introduce our fans – and Sasha and Janel – to a new world of thrills and chills in Beacon Heights.”
