Ever since Camila Mendes tweeted an uncanny comparison of Jughead Jones and Eleven from Stranger Things, the internet has been wildin' over who should be playing Jellybean Jones in Season 3 of Riverdale. As if we weren't excited enough for the next instalment.
It appeared that Camila and her legion of followers agreed that Millie Bobby Brown was the obvious pick. You know, given their creepily similar looks...
Do you agree?
If you don't, you're actually not alone — because look who else the internet reckons should play the role of Jellybean in Riverdale.
1. Lola Flannery
Relatively new to the scene, Lola has acted in six episodes of teen TV series Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments and even played alongside Reese Witherspoon in 2017 for Home Again. She's got piercing blue eyes, could easily fit in with the genetically blessed Jones family.
2. Anna Cathcart
If you've seen Anna in To All the Boys I've Loved Before you know that she is seriously talented, and would have no problems transitioning from cute younger sister, to potential sassy Serpent. Given the new Netflix connection, we're not ruling her out.
3. Sabrina Carpenter
She's the seriously Insta-famous Disney princess turned pop princess who is well on her way to becoming a household name. She starred in the hit series Girl Meets World on the Disney Channel where she played the loveable Maya Hayes for four seasons. Her single 'Almost Love' has over 23 million views on YouTube, and she's no stranger to the celeb circuit, check her out hanging with KJ Apa AKA Archie Andrews, are these two about to come costars? Time will tell...
4. Maia Mitchell
Turns out this Aussie babe is massive contender for the role. If you don't recognise Maia from Disney Channel Australia's cult-classic Mortified, you might need to go back and binge watch every hilarious ep. Her days as Brittany Flune turned into a starring role alongside non-other than Noah Centineo on The Fosters, and now she's set to play alongside KJ Apa in an upcoming film The Last Summer. Here's hoping her seriously strong Netflix connection might be landing her the role of Jellybean — because an Aussie is just what the people of Riverdale need.
Fellow Girl Meets World lead Rowan Blanchard seems to be tracking as Twitter's strongest contender for the role. Physically she's the most well matched to the S1 snap and only known photo of Jellybean and at just 16 has some big titles under her belt including A Wrinkle In Time and Spy Kids: All The Time In The World.
There are some pretty strong contenders for the role of Jellybean, but honestly we're just hoping that the role doesn't go to Cole. No joke.
These photos of him from The Sweet Life Of Zac & Cody have been making the rounds of Twitter, with some suggesting he play both parts given his knack for serving ~lewks~.
