Have you heard? The Queen is hiring a full-time staff member who gets to live at Buckingham Palace with her.

Rather than advertising the position on Seek like the rest of us, the kitchen porter role was posted on Buckingham Palace's official website. The job description reads:

Working as part of the Master of the Household's Office, the kitchen porter will receive a salary of approximately AUD $35,000 per year — which isn't a huge amount. But on the plus side, the successful applicant will have the option of "live-in accommodation (for which there is a salary adjustment) with all meals provided."

No experience is necessary as there will be on-site training.

Guys, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Maybe you'll become friends with Meghan and Harry.* Maybe you'll see some international political figures in the hall. Maybe you'll attend cater important events. The possibilities are endless.

*You will almost certainly not become friends with Meghan and Harry. Sorry.
