This passive aggressive bridesmaid email will make you fear your friends getting hitched

Bridezilla coming at ya.

By: Katie Stow

Old mate Courtney, just a humble MBA student stepping up to stand by her bestie on her big day, was looking forward to her bridesmaid duties and had just booked her flights for the destination wedding when disaster struck.

Perhaps the most passive aggressive email of all time landed in her inbox from the beloved bride, explaining that she had been unceremoniously dumped from the wedding and that she needed to mail her outfit back so someone new could wear it. BRUTAL.

Here's a snippet of the email that Courtney shared with the world:

"When I asked you, I was really hoping that you could be a part of this whole thing – the bachelorette trip, at least the weekend, prep and the full night of the event … the whirlwind nature of what your travel has become just won't work with the duties as a party member. I am so, so sorry!!"

"Please don't feel you're letting me down," the email continued, before the bride said that there was a "possibility" someone else might be able to step into the bridesmaid role. So she then asked her now-dumped-bridesmaid to send her jumpsuit in the mail — but offering to pay postage, of course.

Courtney responded in the same way any of us would — with an equal mix of laughing and crying before she panicked and tweeted at the airline to help her "avoid this wedding at all costs".

Being the champs that they are, and realising what a grade A asshole this bridezilla had been, Jet Blue responded to Courtney offering a future girls' weekend on them — and they chucked in a few puns for good measure.

Praise be for service like this when you've been royally screwed by your supposed mate. ALSO, let this be a warning for all bridezillas: If you're a bitch to your bridesmaids and they have receipts, they will end up on the internet.

You have been warned.
