Please consider donating your mascara wands to this worthy cause

Adorable little animals need your help!

When it comes to mascara, there’s plenty of hacks available on the World Wide Web to help you achieve your best ever lashes. However, this latest mascara use is the best one we’ve ever heard.

According to Savannah Trantham, from the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge, your old mascara wands are perfect for removing fly eggs and larvae from the fur of the animals at their refuge. “They work great because the bristles are so close together,” Savannah said on a Facebook post, which has since gone viral.

The Appalachian Wildlife Refuge is a not-for-profit organisation in Western North Carolina, USA, which provides care for sick and injured wildlife, including squirrels, rabbits and ducks.

For those of you who are on the fence about whether or not to donate, we're just going to leave these pictures of the animals that need your help. WARNING: They're cute AF.
