We’re already OBSESSED.

First there was contouring and baking, then strobing and sandbagging – now it’s all about eye-lighting. According to Self, the new technique is basically ‘strobing for the eyes’, which involves highlighting the inner corner of your peepers.

You’re going to love it because it’s a super easy way to hide the fact you got no sleep last night, while making your eyes look next-level INCRED.

In fact, eye-lighting is so good, even celebs such as Gigi Hadid, Zendaya, J-Lo and Rita Ora use it.

So, how do you do it?

First, start off by applying a hydrating eye cream (such as Benefit’s Puff Off Eye Gel) to decrease puffiness and remove any visible bags under your eyes.

Next, use a beauty blender to apply a layer of concealer (try NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer) over any dark areas. This will help even your skin tone and give a more flawless look.

Finish by applying highlighter (like Becca Shimmering Skim Perfector Poured) to the inner area of your eye, mainly around the tear duct, and blending outwards. Set the liquid with a powder highlighter (such as TheBalm’s Mary Lou Manizer). Alternatively, dab some light or metallic eye shadow for the same effect.

And there you have it, bright eyes in 5 mins - now go forth and par-tay!
