‘Wonder Woman’ Gal Gadot Just Scored A Very Glamorous New Gig

Is there anything she can’t do?

Just 12 months ago, we'd never heard of one Gal Gadot. But now, she's well on her way to becoming a household name. The model/actress/former Israeli soldier/megababe shot to fame, thanks to her starring role as the legendary DC superhero Wonder Woman. [Author's note: If you haven't seen Wonder Woman yet, you haven't lived. Seriously. We wish this feminist remake of the iconic comic book had've been around when we were growing up.]

Her latest move? The 32-year-old was recently announced as the new global brand ambassador for Revlon.

We couldn't imagine anyone more fitting to be the face of Revlon's Live Boldly campaign — a campaign designed to bring women together and celebrate diverse beauty.

On Monday, Gadot wore Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Bombshell Red while on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. For the most part, actresses and actors wore black to the awards ceremony, as part of the 'Time's Up' movement — Gadot included. The actress' makeup artist, Sabrina Bedrani, thought the lip colour made a strong (and fitting!) statement, "I started with her eyes and the rest of her face, no lip colour, and then she put the dress on and I said, 'I know exactly what this needs,'" she told Refinery 29.

Revlon were drawn to Gadot's feminist and trailblazing attributes. In a statement, Fabian Garcia, President & CEO of Revlon said, "Revlon has always celebrated and championed strong, independent women in its iconic campaigns and in its philanthropic initiatives. Gal captures the beauty, strength, modernity and boldness that Revlon represents."
