No longer are makeup and tanning products marketed solely toward women. In 2017, the most major of cosmetic brands including Maybelline and Covergirl are recognising that it’s not just the gals that love an even complexion, hydrated lips and full, feathery brows. Dudes want in on good grooming/epic selfies too, and we're not just referring to Leonardo DiCaprio.

A study conducted by marketing company J. Walter Thompson in 2013 found 9% of men use foundation regularly, 10% apply concealer and 11% use bronzer. Eyelash curlers and BB creams are becoming mainstays in the bathroom vanities of guys all over the globe.

In response to the demand, beauty brands have developed new lines, specifically formulated with males in mind.

Four guy friends gave us their verdicts on the new innovations.
