We've seen a lot of shocking makeup transformations in our time. No seriously, we really have — see this RuPaul's Drag Race tutorial and this before-and-after of Miss Understanding in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
But recently, beauty blogger Glam&Gore left us in fits of laughter after she did a step-by-step Squidward makeup tutorial ahead of Halloween.
Glam&Gore uploaded the video to her Youtube channel. In it, she shows us how to transform into Squidward from Spongebob Square Pants, using nothing but supplies from her local pharmacy. In theory, we should be able to recreate this look at home. But if you decide to go down that route, you might want to, ahhhh, give your housemates some warning. That is, unless you'd like to make your them pee themselves when they see your Squidward-ified-self.
Starting with shaping her head, Mykie uses a shower cap, secured with tape, to get that attractive bulgy head look.
Then, she applies silicone nipple covers to create the eyeballs. #Glam.
Seven minutes in, we reach the pièce de résistance of the whole video — Mykie pulls out a condom and stuffs a beauty blender down it. Surprisingly, it's a dead ringer for Squidward's nose. WTF is happening.
Next, she uses a foam sword to create her Squidward mouth and eyeballs. Cotton balls and lash glue are used to build them out. Genius.
Then, she uses green colour correcting liquid and cream to achieve the perfect Squardward-esque hue.
And with that, she is finished, summing up the look appropriately: "It's still kind of obvious that I have a shower cap on my head, and I have a condom for a nose, but... we did it!"
Terrifying, yet terrific at the same time. What a journey.
