Amy Schumer has taken to Instagram to formally apologise to her heartbroken Aussie fans for cancelling her Amy Schumer Live earlier this week due to illness.

In the post, Amy explains how much she loves our beaut country, our people and our meat pies, complete with a photo of a koala:

It's been announced this morning that Amy Schumer's upcoming Amy Schumer Live tour Down Under has been cancelled.

Amy was set to bring the lolz to Australia and New Zealand throughout December but has been forced to cancel all dates due to illness.

Due to Amy's tight schedule, Live Nation have explained that it is not possible to organise replacement dates yet, however there are plans to confirm her return to Australia.

If you were planning on seeing Amy this month and already bought tickets using a credit or debit card, allow up to ten working days for the refund to appear in your account.

For customers that purchased at an agency by cash or EFTPOS, Ticketek will be in contact with these customers directly.
