Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson.

You know, this whole 'Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson' thing is giving us a head-spin. Whether it's how fast they got engaged (after two weeks!), if Pete got a tattoo of her or not (he did!), or whether or not Pete and his ex-girlfriend were technically "on a break" at the time (they were!), this relationship has been a whirlwind.

But if there's one person who's not concerned about all that, it's Ariana Grande.

After posting a snippet of a new song — called 'Pete,' of course — Ariana took to Twitter to defend her 0-to-100 engagement.

After revealing the Pete-inspired song to fans, one piped up asking, "Girl, we know you love him, but are you dumb?"

(Kinda rude, but okay.) Ariana was quick to reply, "Nah."

Another fan replied, "You really don't give a fuck, do you?"

That's when the singer got really real. She wrote back: "For real. The truth is [tea emoji]. I been the fuck through it and life's too short to be cryptic and shit about something as beautiful as this love I'm in. So Pete it is."

To be fair: we'd be writing love songs if we had a rock like this, too.
