Beyoncé has just shared the very first photo of the Carter twins!

In her first Instagram post since giving birth, Beyoncé confirms their names are Rumi and Sir Carter, and that they are one month old.

“Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today,” she wrote, with a bunch of emojis representing her growing family.

The photo is, of course, spectacular: Beyoncé wearing a printed dress, a veil and standing in front of a floral arrangement. It’s pretty much the post-birth version of the photo she used to announce she was pregnant with them.

This is the first time Bey has commented publicly on the birth of her twins, and with one simple line she confirmed the names of the twins, and that they were born on June 13.

Sir and Rumi are the second and third children of Beyoncé and JAY-Z, whose first daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, is five.

It was reported in June that Beyoncé had delivered the babies, who were premature, which is normal for many twin births.

Photos of a visitor bringing blue and pink balloons to the hospital had the internet convinced Bey’s babies were a boy and a girl. In fact, people started speculating about the genders from the lingerie Bey wore in her announcement post.

Beyoncé documented her maternity style on Instagram and her website, and celebrated the twins’ impending birth with a glorious, African-themed baby shower, which was dubbed the Carter Push Party.

While Bey took her time with posting something about the twins, it was well worth the wait.
