Chad Michael Murray Gilmore Girls

For those of you who spent the other weekend glued to the couch as you saw every ep in the Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life reunion back-to-back, you will have seen a whole heap of familiar faces once again.

Alexis Bledel hasn’t aged a single day, Lauren Graham is as hilarious as ever and all Rory’s ex boyfs rocked up for the shindig.

But did you notice that one face was missing? Of course you did – you’re a true Stars Hollow fan.

Rather than seeing Chad Michael Murray on our screens one last time, Tristan Dugray was played by another actor, Anton Narinskiy, and we’re not gonna lie – we were pretty devo.

But now we might have some answers as to why CMM didn’t show.

According to TV Line, CMM wasn’t at the reunion for the simple reason that he declined the invitation.

But wait, it gets worse.

While Chad admits he wish he was there with the cast, he also admits to Entertainment Tonight
that he hasn’t even seen the goddamn revival… “

“I haven't personally seen it, but I know everyone's really excited,” he said. “I wish I could've been there but it's all good -- life is good. All my buddies got to go back.”

Excuse us while we sob into our mugs of cold coffee…

Alas, in the same interview he went on to get hella cute about his wife and how they're expecting their second child and we can’t even stay mad at him for longer than five mins.

He described himself as, “officially the luckiest man in the world,” before explaining that having a baby girl is “a whole new ball game” compared to his son. “So, I've got the guy figured out, you know, and we throw the ball around, and we wrestle, and he likes to beat up Daddy.

“Now it's the baby girl, and she's gonna have me wrapped around her finger, and I'm gonna be in big trouble and not know how to discipline or anything.”

And, like that, all is forgiven.
