Chris Hemsworth apologises for 'culturally insensitive' costume, is the classiest guy out

“I now appreciate that there is a great need for a deeper understanding of the complex and extensive issues facing indigenous communities.”

Chris Hemsworth continues his reign of being an all-round good guy by posting a serious message to Instagram regarding cultural appropriation and his past ‘ignorance’.

You might remember Chris and some other member of the Hemsworth clan were criticised online for ‘cultural insensitivity’ after Elsa Pataky posted an image of them dressed as Native American Indians at Falls Festival in Byron Bay.

Well, now Chris has addressed it and has called for a greater understanding “of the complex and extensive issues facing indigenous communities.”

Classy guy, huh?

He also used the post to campaign against the Dakota Access Pipeline, a $3.7 billion investment to move oil. People are campaigning against it as they see it as an assault on sacred land, not to mention an environmental threat.

Chris was also dressed as Thor, which is always worthy of note.
