Political candidate Cynthia Nixon on which 'Sex and the City' scene truly disappointed her

Nixon: "I thought, 'that's not really what you love about the show, is it?' Because that's not what we were making it for."

Cynthia Nixon's first television appearance since announcing her campaign for governor of New York was on the Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday (April 4). During her segment, Cynthia talked about how the 2016 election being a "real wake-up call" for the women, how she's in favor of legalizing marijuana, and how black women are the "cornerstone of the Democratic Party and we need to let them lead."

She also talked Sex and the City. Well, Sex and the City 2, at least.

Wendy asked Cynthia about why she'd been "devastated" by a particular scene in the movie, though audiences everywhere loved it (it was the scene in the movie where Big reveals the huge closet full of clothes to Carrie).

Watch her entire interview (where Wendy refers to Cynthia as "Governor" throughout) above.
