Yes, Drake is a daddy!
The rapper might have Nicki Minaj, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey and previously unreleased vocals from Micheal Jackson on his new album 'Scorpion', but the real news is he has an 8-month-old son.
The 31-year-old dropped his new record just before midnight on Thursday (28 June, 2018) and among the 25 tracks are numerous references confirming he is the father of French former adult-film star, Sophie Brussaux's son.
On the track Emotionless, which feats. Mariah Carey, Drizzy reveals:
He goes on to add:
Then on the track March 14 the rapper, who has in the past been romantically linked with Serena Williams, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez, describes his strained relationship with his 8-month-old son's mother.
While referencing his own mother, Sandi Graham and his parents' separation, Drake hints that the child was born as the result of a very brief tryst:
Other lyrics confirm that DNA tests show the boy, born October 11, is his son and when he was born Drake lavished him with gifts despite only meeting him once at Christmas time:
Drizzy then raps he wants to spend more time with his child and improve his relationship with Brussaux who now works as a painter:
Despite wide spread speculation he'd had a secret love child, including that recent Pusha-T diss track putting pressure on him, Drake and his team publicly denied he was the father. In fact, his team kinda walked the icky line of slut-shaming Brussaux saying her paternity claims were questionable because "she has admitted to having multiple relationships".
But since acknowledging the child is his TMZ sources say Drizzy has been cutting checks for his former lover since late in her pregnancy, to make sure she "lives comfortably".
