The bromance between 22-year-old bad boy, Justin Bieber and 25-year-old crooner Ed Sheeran has been blossoming for years, culminating in the pair collaborating on one of your fave tunes.
The 'Castle on the Hill' singer recently revealed that he originally wrote Justin’s smash hit 'Love Yourself' with the intention of putting it on his upcoming album, Divide, before deciding to give it away to the Biebs.
Now, while on a wild night out in Japan, the pair decided to belt out the song in karaoke.
"I quite like that that song is just having its own life somewhere," Ed explained to MYXclusive. "Me and Justin actually sung that on karaoke together two days ago."
"He was in Tokyo. It was a really weird night actually, a really weird night. We went to a bar called Train Bar and... then we went to a karaoke bar and sung our own song.
"He was singing my songs, so I was singing his songs... and then we both sang 'Love Yourself'."
Maaaaan what we would give to see a recording of that!
Ed recently expressed his regret for giving the song away, especially considering it has now been nominated for two Grammy Awards including Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
"That was a song I had written for Divide. It just wouldn’t have made it," he told Carson Daly of the track. "Justin took it and did his thing on it, and released it as a single and made it what it is. ... I wouldn't say it was just all me."
"It just shows you that you shouldn’t always write stuff off," Ed added.
Yep, couldn't agree with you more Eddy boy.
Ah well, Ed has more than his fair share of hits up his sleeve, including his brand new tracks 'Castle on the Hill' and 'Shape of You'.
His new stuff is 2018 Grammy-bait FO SHO!
