This is what the emo band singers you frothed on in the mid-2000s look like now

IT'S NOT A PHASE, MUM.

Back in mid-2000s, being an emo kid was all the rage. Think OTT liner, backcombed bangs that obscured your vision in one eye, snakebite piercings and totes ~emosh~ lyrics plastered across your edgy AF MySpace page.

My Chemical Romance, AFI, The Used and Panic! At the Disco were the bands du jour, and inspired a generation of teens who vibed with their emotional lyrics (hence the term 'emo').

These days, the emo band boys we all frothed on have grown up and ditched the kohl liner - and you legit won’t believe how different they look today.
