As has been previously mentioned on this and many other sites a number of times, Taylor Swift's latest album 1989 is probably mostly about Harry Styles. There's a whole song called just called "Style," for Olivia Benson's sake. So what does Harry think about the fact that the biggest release of 2014 contains multiple references to him and his devious heartbreaker ways? Is he hanging his head in shame and wishing he never met Taylor? Well, no, not really. In fact, he seems pretty fine with the whole situation.
During a Google Hangout with the rest of One Direction on Sunday, Harry fielded a question about whether or not Taylor's confessional lyrics make him feel odd. "We always say that we write from personal experience and I think everyone does, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like, 'Oh you can't write about us,'" he said. "And she's really good, so they're good songs. So I'm really lucky in that sense." This diplomatic response earned him a quick round of applause from Liam, whose eyebrows are truly impressive pieces of work. Does this mean that Harry, like Lorde, loves driving down the highway with 1989 blaring from his stereo? Probably.
Harry's response to the T-Swift question begins around the 28:30 point, in case you are not the sort of person willing to watch a One Direction interview in its entirety just to hear them talk in their British accents for a blissful 40 minutes.
