Goldie Hawn has opened up on her daughter Kate Hudson’s short-lived romance with Nick Jonas while appearing on What What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday.
The Snatched actress was taking viewer questions when one fan asked what she thought about Hudson, 38, dating 24-year-old Jonas back in 2015/2016.
“Oh, that’s too funny,” Hawn said. "Let me tell you something – as long as the kids are having fun, I don’t care! Because he’s a very nice guy. He’s a good person.”
Cohen pressed Hawn with a follow up question; "Did you make dinner for him and stuff?”
The 71-year-old replied, "No, but I would have. If it had lasted long enough.”
“I love it when hot people get together, don’t you?” Cohen said. Hawn agreed by saying: “Yeah, it’s fun!"
Jonas opened up to Complex about the rumoured fling in February 2016. “Kate’s incredible,” he told the magazine. “We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that’s beautiful.”
Kate, who is mother to sons Ryder, 13 and Bingham, 5, made her red carpet debut with her current beau, musician Danny Fujikawa, at the Snatched premiere earlier this week.
Hudson’s mum approves of her current BF too telling Entertainment Tonight Danny was a “great guy”.
“Yeah, he's very special actually," Hawn added.
