Hilary Duff shuts down body shamers with swimsuit photo of her "flaws"

Hils ain't got time for your judgement.

Hilary Duff has told people who want to judge her body to "#kissmyass" and shared a beautiful photo of herself in a bathing suit holding her son Luca.

The Younger star is on holidays with her 6-year-old in Canada and after a paparazzo encroached on a tender mother-and-son moment Duff addressed the money shot the snapper was likely after aka: the beach pics some mags and websites use to shame celebs for not looking red-carpet ready 24/8.

Alongside a swimsuit picture the 29-year-old wrote: "I am posting this on behalf of young girls, women, and mothers of all ages. I'm enjoying a vacation with my son after a long season of shooting and being away from him for weeks at a time over those months. Since websites and magazines love to share 'celeb flaws' - well I have them!"

The actress also added some wise words showing gratitude for the skin she's in: "My body has given me the greatest gift of my life: Luca, 5 years ago. I'm turning 30 in September and my body is healthy and gets me where I need to go. Ladies, lets be proud of what we've got and stop wasting precious time in the day wishing we were different, better, and unflawed. You guys (you know who you are!) already know how to ruin a good time, and now you are body shamers as well."

She closed with: "#kissmyass 😛✌🏻".

For what it's worth, we think Hils always looks! Need we remind you of when Twitter lost its shit over her ass earlier in the year?
