John Legend is disappointed in Kanye West for being BFFs with Donald Trump

Kanye West’s friendship with Jay Z and Beyonce is on thin ice, and now his relationship with John Legend (and assumedly, Chrissy Teigen) is in dangerous territory, too.

John has given an interview confirming he’s upset that Kanye has been a vocal supporter of Trump, and even had a meeting with the president-elect yesterday (you might remember that John and Chrissy are extremely anti-Trump. Because, duh?)

“I don't think it's impossible to talk to [Trump] about issues, but I won't be used as a publicity stunt," John told Clique. "I think Kanye was a publicity stunt."

“I’m pretty disappointed with Kanye that he says he would’ve voted for Trump,” he continued.

"I think Trump has been corrosive to the country. I think the things he’s promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people and for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing."

Kanye and John go waaaaaaay back – they’ve featured in each others’ songs for more than a decade and have bonded over becoming dads. Not to mention Kim and Chrissy have gotten really close through their husbands.

When John Legend is ‘not mad, just disappointed’ at you, it’s probably time to take a good, hard look at yourself. Because John Legend is basically the most mellow person of all time.

Sort your sh*t out, Kanye.
