The Palace is reportedly considering an ‘aggressive strategy’ to deal with Meghan Markle’s dad

Her Majesty is not impressed.

Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially announced their engagement in late 2017, the former Suits actress' father, Thomas Markle, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. It started off innocently enough — the 73-year-old says he staged paparazzi photos before the wedding in an attempt to support his daughter. However, since the wedding, Thomas Markle has given tell-all (and paid!) interviews to Good Morning Britain, the Daily Mail and TMZ. He claims to have hung up on Harry and shared the newlywed's plans to have children.

Safe to say, the Palace is not impressed with Meghan's father.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the Palace are considering an 'aggressive strategy' to stop Thomas Markle from over-sharing information about Meghan and Harry with the media.

"The Palace, who normally takes a firm policy of not commenting on personal matters, is now considering a more aggressive strategy to deal with the situation with both her father and her sister," a source told Entertainment Tonight. "No one wants to see this continue."

"She has gone through periods of difficulty with her father in the past, but she does love him," the source continued. "That's what's been so difficult about this."
