If you love Sex And The City more than life itself, then it might interest you to know that on-screen besties, Samantha Jones and Carrie Bradhsaw, actually have some serious beef IRL. And the whole thing is pretty upsetting.

The feud between Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker all started when Kim took to Instagram last week to notify fans that her brother, Christopher Cattrall, was missing.

One day later and Christopher had, tragically, been found deceased.

In the wake of the devastating news, friends and fans had a massive outpouring of support for Kim and her family, which she later thanked them for on Instagram:

But one person Kim was not about to accept sympathies from was her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, who commented, "Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx"

In response, Kim posted a message on Instagram that read "I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker", accompanied by an equally scathing caption.

"My Mom asked me today 'When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?'" Kim wrote.

"Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven't already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona."

Holy shit.

Kim also then linked to an article which deep dives into the 'mean-girl culture' behind the scenes of Sex And The City.

Kim's been very open about her desire to leave the iconic franchise, refusing to do a third movie, stating her 'heart's not in it anymore'.
