Lady Gaga will headline the Super Bowl halftime show in 2017.

Lady Gaga’s comeback is officially complete. Her new album Joanne is out October 21, and she’s just been confirmed as the headline act for next year’s Super Bowl.

She announced the super (heh, get it?) news on Instagram on Friday after weeks of rumours.

The Super Bowl might be just a football game, but it’s watched by more than 100 million people around the world, and has given us some incredibly memorable performances by Beyonce, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and more.

The Super Bowl is on February 5, 2017. There will also be some men and a ball and stuff. Yeah, we don’t really care either.
