Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall missed out on a role in the ‘Aladdin’ remake and fans are not happy

They're not impressed with their final choice for the Princess Jasmine, either.

Sad news, Mixers! After rumours swirled that Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall was up for the role of Jasmine in Guy Ritchie’s live-action remake of Disney’s Aladdin, it’s since been revealed the baben’ Brit didn’t make the final cut.

Instead, Naomi Scott, who has previously starred in Power Rangers and The Martian will take on the coveted role alongside hottie Mena Massoud who is set to play Aladdin, after casting directors revealed they had struggled to cast the leading role.

Meanwhile, Little Mix fans have taken to Twitter to vent all their ~feels~ over Jade not landing the role of the iconic princess.

The flick will also star Will Smith as Genie, who was voiced by Robin Williams in the OG film.
