Any fan of Little Mix knows that Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall are huge advocates for body positivity, and Perrie’s latest photo shoot has fans praising the singer for her DGAF ‘tude.
Looking absolutely banging with smokey eye makeup and mermaid locks, the 23-year-old wore a sexy plunging dress that proudly exposed a scar on her chest – something the singer had previously revealed to be a huge source of insecurity.
“My [biggest body-hang up] is my scar on my stomach. When I was little, my oesophagus was too small, so I had to get it operated on to help me eat properly. I had to have lots of operations, so that's why I don't want to show it,” she revealed to NOW last year.
With the Brit babe posting the gorg snap to her ‘gram, however, it looks like she’s learning to love her bod, scars and all, and fans couldn’t be happier.
“Thank you @LittleMix Perrie for making me comfortable and confident enough to show off my scar. You have no idea how much you changed me” one Mixer posted to Twitter, while another wrote, “I love seeing Perrie's stomach scar and being finally happy and confident with her body.”
It comes after the girls were dragged on social media for wearing ‘revealing’ outfits during their performance at Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester benefit concert to support victims of the May 22 terrorist attack.
Luckily, a slew of peeps came to their defence, reiterating that the group should be able to wear whatever the eff they want and people should instead focus on the worthy cause of the concert.
You go, girls.
