Margot Robbie’s Suicide Squad costume looks suspiciously altered in these versions

How much of Margot’s butt will you see at the movies?

Margot Robbie’s character in Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn, wears some seriously skimpy red and blue short-shorts in the film. But it turns out the hotpants might be bigger or smaller depending on where you see the movie.

Website Comicbook.com has pointed out that a trailer screened to the film industry at Comic Con in San Diego last month shows Margot in a tinier pair of shorts than an earlier version, which shows her behind a lot more covered up. You can see the comparison below, and in this video.

Margot was asked about the discrepancy (too early to call it #hotpantsgate?) in an interview with Nova, and the actress said she wasn’t sure if there’d been any post-production digitally altering.

“I didn’t know about that … having been there on the day, they were very small — but wow, I wonder if they did?” she replied. “That would be extensive Photoshopping to do.”

Given the obvious difference it seems there has been some airbrushing at play. A good reminder that so much of what we see on screen just ain't real.

Let us know which version of Margot’s behind you see when it hits cinemas Thursday!
